Singapore Honeymoon - March 2006

Home Up Tasmania Singapore The Whitsundays

Adam surprised me with the honeymoon destination.  I didn't know where we were going until we were at the airport on the day of departure.  I had tried to guess on many occasions and Singapore was one of my many guesses.  I was presently surprised!  I loved Singapore, although it took me a little time to adjust to the weather and the food.  Once I relaxed I was happy to try all the wonderful food on offer.  My favourite spots were Fatty's restaurant (outside dinning a must) and also the place where we had Satay's, there are photos of these below.  As Adam had been to Singapore before, he acted as the tour guide.  He took me to the bird park (which mind you, he hadn't been to before) and we also went to the Night Safari (unfortunately we were unable to get any photos of this as you are not allowed to have flash photography and we hadn't worked out how to use the camera without flash by this time!).  We also took a cruise out to sea, very amazing as both Adam & I had never seen so many ships in a harbour before.  We had wonderful views of Singapore and of Malaysia.  We wondered the many shops, didn't buy too many things.  The two major purchases was our new SLR Camera and a new work suit for me and one for Adam, oh and my beautiful new Chinese dress and top! Other than that, we just ate and lapped up the fact that we had just recently got married and didn't have to go to work!

We hope you enjoy the photos we have put on the website, just a taste of what Singapore is about, you must visit if you have a chance.
