Winslow, AZ is the town immortalized by the song "Take it Easy", which was written by Jackson Browne and Glenn Frey and performed by the Eagles. The town is located on the old Route 66 but since the Interstate has gone through, visitors to the town have dwindled. That said as we passed by we just had to stop in and have our photo taken "standing on the corner".

No girl in a flatbed Ford drove passed that day but it was another piece of Americana to see.
