On the night we stayed in Vermont, we headed into the capital for a bit of a look around. Something that there is plenty of through out the north east is antique shops and Vermont and Montpelier certainly didn't disappoint. Other than the ever present antique shops and a university, there was not much there. Apparently Montpelier is the least populated capital in the United States.
We stopped by the State Capital building (pictured above) just before sunset to take a couple of photos and also watch some university students playing Frisbee footy on the lawn, before heading off for dinner.
